I would not feel comfortable putting this in water. It has openings in the case and does not look completely sealed.

Works really good, Only problem was the wires at the base of the fan were showing copper on both black and red wire very close to each other, lucky I notice it, as it is mounted to a box that sits on top of my filter in my fish tank above the fog maker blowing the fog through hoses, so anyway I just added some more silicone to it.

this fan is very very noisy not quite at all. its very very powerful. the adjustment seems to me low then very very high. I use this to keep my usb hub cool it tends to get very very hot. this fan has been doing a great job keeping the hub cool.

This item is pretty self explanatory. If you need to move a lot of air onto or over something that requires cooling, or perhaps to inflate something, this will do a good job. Hookup is quick and easy. The controller lets you turn it on/off and set the desired speed. The noise is quite obvious, even at low speeds, which is expected for blower type fans.
