Bought this for my wife, and we are always buying dresses on Amazon. My wife is a consistent large. This dress is gorgeous, but we could not get it zipped. It has a side zipper, and it would not zip - not even close. (My wife is a C-cup and other Large dresses fit perfectly) It fit perfect everywhere else. Anyhow — I’m not sure an extra large would be a good fit, because it fit so perfectly around her waste and thighs— just tight up top. A shame - she loved the dress.

I had planned on wearing this dress for summer events but it was a bit too small on the sides (hard to zip up) and see-through in certain areas. It is sexy and versatile and with the A-line shape and flowy at the bottom. Although I could size up, I figured it likely would still not fit me overall.

I am a pear-shaped woman. The bodice of the dress reminds me of 1930s era formal wear, and I don't think that jives with my body type. The top is very gapey on me, despite it fitting well at the ribcage, but it flows nicely over the hips. This would be nice for a true hourglass or a top-heavy lady.I love the dusty peacock color, and it is very lightweight and flowy. This material is prone to wrinkles, and there is no stretch.The one thing that bothers me quite a bit is the uneven hem. This was obviously intentional, but it's also subtle enough to look odd in a badly homemade kind of way. I really love the neck ties on the deep back, though. That is very pretty.I got a medium, at time picture taken 147lbs, 34-28-42 measurements.

This is a perfect fit in the waist, but too big around the chest. The seems on either side stick out way too much under the arms to get away with it. Unfortunately, the zipper is on the side and can’t be pulled in to get a better fit. This is the downside of on-line shopping. The dress is super cute; perfect for a Caribbean summer trip. It’s casual enough to wear on the beach and dressy enough to wear with heels for dinner, but not the right fit for my smaller up top frame.
