This item was advertised deceptively. The description stated that this saucer would fit both the cup and the 9-ounce "mug." The indent which stabilizes the cup was at least half an inch too large in diameter. I own one saucer made by V&B, (Fleurence), with a 5&5/8-inch diameter, which fits my cups and mugs perfectly. I needed three more, and this Amazon purchase was a disaster, especially since they did not supply measurements so that I would know that this was clearly a case of false advertising. The diameter was over seven inches!
