This came with a ton of sand. I searched sand and found this to be the most sand for the best price.. They come in bags but you get double the amount per bag you would in one of the bottles. This weighs over 8 pounds! Great vibrant sand in every color. I did have 2 that were busted open but I saved like 70 percent.

This box of sand is heafty! It contains several bags of different colors of sand. This is great for art in my classroom! I originally got it to do sand art for Diwali, but there is so much I am going to do more sand art projects. Draw a design, outline an area with glue, then sprinkle sand. Just like glitter, but natural and easier to vacuum up! If you want lots of sand with lots of options this is a good set. These would be awesome for laying in jars for decorations or gifts.

I ordered this to use for art/craft activities for homeschooling. It also doubles for educational and sensory experiences with the wide variety of colors and the grainy/rough textural aspect. The sand is a medium-fine grain that works great for making sandy glue crafts; I mixed some of it with like-colored glitter for a cool effect. The only negative I can think of is that the sand doesn't come in resealable baggies. Not a deal breaker but something that needs to be taken into consideration if you don't plan on using the entire packet in one go.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I have an art project that needs bits of multiple colors and this set delivered so much more. Several colors looked similar but they're subtle shades different and make it easier to match exactly what you want. This heavy box had a lot of sand in it, and it's perfect for any projects that need fine sand. The colors are bright and vibrant and this is a great value for the many uses you can get out of it. It's fun for kids and adults and let's you get really creative.
