This worked for what I needed in my pump house for freezing weather. It was bit confusing to put together and I assumed it came with the bulb, but it does not.

We’ve been using this aluminum reflector lamp for our new chicken setup in upstate NY, and it’s worked perfectly alongside our 150W heat bulbs. The clamp holds securely, even in our wooden coop, and the 6-foot cord gives us enough flexibility for proper placement.It feels sturdy and safe, and the reflector design really helps direct the warmth where we need it. Tengo otra similar que compré en un supermercado, en apariencia se ve de menor calidad pero esa sí funciona con focos ahorradores. En el caso de la que compré en amazon toda se veia mejor hecha pero nunca funcinó con focos ahorradores, solo con incandescentes. Ademas de esto traia etiquetas de advertencia por posible contaminacion/toxicidad de los materiales con los que se fabricó.

Recomiendo el producto, hace la función de reflejar muy bien los focos que se conecten a el.... tener cuidado por que puede doblarse fácilmente.

Most of the time, I don't used the sheilds, so at $5.31 for a VERY high quality light, this is the best I've found. But....thetes no switch, this may not be a problem for you, though. These have ceramic housing, not the cheap plastic ones (that you find at big box stores) which overheat and flake off around the edges. These also have really high quality cords. I've purchased a lot of different clamp lights over the years for reptiles and Halloween decorations. These are high quality and affordable. They probably have the best actual "clamp" of any I've purchased. But...these don't have switches. If you don't need a switch, these are an excellent buy and highly recommended. You can tell from the picture that there's no switch on the housing or in the cord line. This means if switching the light on and off regularly is important to you, this may not be your product. But...there are applications where you don't care about switching on and off. If you're using these for reptiles, for example, the switch is not so important. Or if you're just trying to have some additional light at a Workbench you can run this from a socket in line with another light, so when you flip the light switch on, this clamp light goes on, too. Or you can just yank out the cord from the socket as your switch. In these cases, this product is great and much better than what you can buy at big box stores. The housing is ceramic, not the typical plastic wimhuch overheats. And the cord is really high quality. I'd prefer no switch and a high quality light over a cheap light with a switch. And....the price is right for a clamp light at $5.31 as an "add on" item. If you need a switch, look for the slightly higher priced Flukers at around $7.50 (still ceramic, still a good cord, and a very acceptable clamp)
