This item doesn't fit a 2016 Kia sportage

The master window switch in my Kia Sportage has had issues for years...I've only been able to control the driver's window for roughly 3 years now. The retail price for a Kia OEM part is roughly 7 times the price of this item, so I figured it was worth a try! Just be aware that you're getting a part with no info as to how to install it. I had to rely on YouTube for help with that. My only real struggle was removing the old part from the door panel. I couldn't get just the window switch out and ended up breaking the surrounding trim piece between the window switch and power mirror switch. It was a clean break, so I was able to reinstall everything fine, but it's not as seamless as it once was. :(All in all, I'm happy with this item and would recommend it. All 4 windows work properly now! Maybe just do a bit more research than I did on how to extricate the old switch and surround. (Or if the vendor could include some instruction, that would be appreciated also.)

After viewing several incomplete YouTube videos on how to disassemble the drivers side door panel, I managed to successfully replace the drivers side window switch on my 2016 Kia Sportage, which took about 30-45 min. The new switch works fine, the initial problem I had was not being able to control the passenger side window from the drivers side. Additionally, the back windows also had problems going up and down from the drivers side master switch. All the windows roll up and down with ease from the drivers side master switch now! Yay, Life is Good! Oh, I saved about $400, the switch was $25 plus about an hours work, but it did involve some considerable research of which some was misleading and/or incomplete.This is the same Kia vehicle that seems to be easily stolen these days. and that Kia is doing nothing about. Kia and Hyundai seem to have a lot of quality issues, which will steer me to Toyota for my next purchase.
