The probe is nice considering the price. Looks & feels like my bluelab probe. The length of the cord is not very long. The storage cap was empty when it arrived and very cheap, I had to but the rubber band on the probe with the lid above it to get it to close but for what you pay I guess it works for now. It even came in a cool plastic container. The one I got came calibrated, but I recalibrated with BlueLab calibration solution 7 & 4. The ph is pretty accurate but it does drift ( .1 or .2 ) after a few minutes in the solution but it does read correctly when first used but for continuous reading this would not work. I'm ok with that since I keep my hydroponic water at a ph of 6.0 I got this as a backup, my bluelab ph probe is made of glass and incase something happens to it I can still monitor my ph with this one in the meantime; also it does read the water temperature that stays consistent regardless of how long the probe stays in the solution. I say if you need an extra probe it's good but not great I would still recommend it. You can use your tap water as a way to know when the probe is off, my tap water is usually 8.1 so if its off by .3 than I know its time to recalibrate.

I got this to use with my milwaukee sms122 co2 ph controller since it is ⅓ the price of milwaukee probes. It work perfect. The only downside is the cord is a bit short so I had to purchase an extension.seems probe is not completrlely waterproof****It now reads .6 lower inaccurately if the white cap touches the water .When elevated instantly go back to correct reading.. annoying
