These pipette tips are of solid quality. They arrived clean, clear, and well packaged. They fit perfectly with my 4E's brand pipette. Overall, I don't have any substantial complaints. However, I did notice that compared to other polypropylene 5 milliliter pipette tips I have used, these ones didn't release liquid as effectively. I was using lime oil extract to make flavored seltzer, and while the Fisher scientific brand tips I had released all the liquid without any issues, a significant amount of liquid got stuck in these tips each time.As far as I know, neither the Fisher tips nor these ones are coated, but the cost of these tips is only one-tenth of the Fisher brand. So, it's more cost-effective to buy these tips and accept a little waste of lime oil each time. Other than that, these tips deserve a 5-star rating. I can't find any other reason to criticize them, they fit well.

I was hoping to be able to use this to dip into a liquid, cover the top with my finger and extract the pipette, move it to a substrate, and then release the liquid. This method proved to be unreliable. Sometimes it wouldn't pick the liquid up, and other times it would leak it out after extracting the pipette from the source container. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, and if so, then you can disregard that comment. What I did find it useful for was for filling small 0.5oz needle bottles from a larger 2 oz bottle. in short, I was using the pipette like a long funnel. For this use, it worked perfectly. I wish it came in smaller quantities. I really only needed about 20, so 100 are going to last me for a lifetime.

Your basic universal 5ml pipette tips, non-graduated, clean but not necessarily sterile. They function as advertised. Relatively low unit cost.
