These bookmarks are absolutely gorgeous! They are smaller than I was expecting. I was thinking they would be a standard-sized bookmark. When I looked back at the images, they do show a smaller size, but I guess my brain didn't recognize that when I first saw them because it just didn't expect bookmarks to be smaller than the standard size. They are thin metal sheets that have a slightly indented area on the front in which the images are printed. This gives the metal accents in the images a slightly raised design. It's beautiful to look at, especially if you are a fan of any of the images used in the designs. This does, however pose a potential issue where it could end up leaving a lightly embossed mark in the book in certain spots. I would avoid leaving these in a book that has anything else stacked on it. Another thing I like was that the backing card they come attached to shows a larger representation of the image the bookmark was inspired by. This would be so much better, though, if it could say more like which artist and painting it is. A few actually do say Van Gogh or Claude Monet on them, engraved at the bottom, but most just say Art World, which doesn't clarify if these are actually from a famous painting or artist or if they were something else. I really would have loved to see a little blurb about each art piece on the backing card. Additionally, I really enjoyed that they come in a sort of array of colors themed in pink, yellows, greens, blues, and purple. These would probably be a really nice gift in something like a gift bag for members of a book club or stocking stuffers, especially for those who love to read. Or maybe you're just one of those people who've always got a dozen books they are reading at a time. I probably will use most of these in my art reference books since I usually have several out at a time and keep several pages marked for reference.

These are much more beautiful in person than online. I got this set because they were "nice enough" looking on the screen. I have quite a library growing again and having a selection of bookmarks is handy... especially now that I am getting my daughter into reading.When these arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find them far more attractive in person! Maybe it is just my screen, but the colors look harsh and like they don't go together but the bookmarks themselves really are far more beautiful. I like that they more closely resemble the artwork that inspired them than expected based on photos.Both the bookmarks themselves and the cardstock they come on can be used as a bookmark.Overall, highly recommend. They are quite lovely.

These bookmarks are kind of on the small side, but they are not too tiny. They are well made and beautifully designed. The colors are vibrant. Each one is individually wrapped and on their own cards that matches the bookmark. The cards are beautiful and would be pretty to use in scrap booking or even as a bookmark also. The tassles are well made and make the bookmarks look nice.
