I got this 150W solar flood light for some extra outdoor lighting, and it's been really useful. The portable and foldable design makes it easy to move around. The 8000mAh battery and solar panel mean I don't need to worry about plugs or wires. It charges during the day and provides plenty of light at night. The 6500K COB flood light is very bright. It lights up a large area, which is perfect for my yard and garage. The remote control is a convenient way to adjust the brightness and settings.I appreciate the IP65 waterproof rating. It's held up well in rain and other weather conditions. It's been great for added security lighting and for working on projects outside at night. A really good and adaptable outdoor light.

This is a decent floodlight. I like that you can use it in a variety of situations, as it is pretty weatherproof.I have tested it in a few locations around the house and it works pretty well. It can be placed in a flowerbed, or mounted, or in my case I am moving it around depending on where I want light. It comes with a remote, so you can control, with several modes of operation.——————————How my star ratings work:* - Negative experience. Poor quality, serious design flaws, and doesn’t accomplish the stated description/goals. Not recommended.** - Low quality and design flaws limit usefulness. May partially accomplish the stated description/goals, but still not recommended.*** - Neutral. May be useful, but medium quality and design quirks limit its utility. Caution advised.**** - Positive. Good product. Good quality/design. Accomplishes the stated description/goals. I might buy again, but there might be better products. Recommended with caveats.***** - Very positive. Excellent product. High quality/design. Fully accomplishes the stated description and I’d likely buy again. Definitely recommended.

This thing is so bright it is blinding! Great way to add light where you need it. The solar power charges the battery which last a long time in the night. I use it to light up the food table when the night comes during parties. Comes with a remote control as well for easy operation.

This product is rated at 150W. It’s even claimed to be equivalent to a 1500W ordinary LED light on one the pictures. This is nonsensical. It’s probably 25W at most, which is in line with the claim of 1600 lumen. And the solar panel can likely generate around 10W at most for that size. The battery is rated at 8000mAh. Assuming 3.7V lithium batteries, that’s ~30Wh. If the maximum power consumption was 150W, the battery would be drained in 12 minutes! This product claims to last 9 to 11 hours on a full charge, without clarifying at what brightness level. On maximum brightness and on a full charge, I was able to get 2 hours of light before the battery died. So that specified usage time of ~10 hours was likely on the minimum (~20%) brightness, which quite dim.An entire day of charge in winter, with a mix of clouds with sun breaks, doesn’t keep the light on for more than 20 minutes after dark, on full brightness. I got the same results 2 days in a row.It comes with a remote control to adjust the brightness, or use a timer. Not sure what the red top left button is for. The On and Off buttons override the default Auto mode until the ambient light reaching the solar panel toggle for longer than about 1 second. Then it goes back to Auto (light turns on when ambient goes dark, off when ambient goes bright). One good thing is that the brightness level is persistent. I am not sure if the same applies to the timer settings.Another issue is that there is no switch on the device to cut the power permanently, in orderto keep the battery charged, regardless of the ambient light. The only way to do that is to unscrew and disconnect the cable between the light and the battery.I am disappointed by this product functionality and performance, and I don’t recommend it.

Initially I was happy with this light but after a couple weeks I realized that the location that I needed to mount this did not have enough sunlight to fully recharge the battery. (that is a guess) Either that, or the batteries have already lost the ability to properly hold a charge.I'm no solar lighting expert, but here's what I think is the problem...The location where I wanted to install this product receives a decent amount of sun light, but it is not an all day sunshine.. do have a tree that partially blocks the sunlight during the early morning hours. That said, i dont think that it is enough to fully charge the batteries during the day. What would solve this problem is if the light had a motion sensor, and only turned on when needed. I'm not sure why, but this item only has continuous "on" modes. The packaging instructions claim to have a 4 hour run time, but even after a full day of sunlight.. there is not enough charge back in the battery to achieve this run time.I'm going to look into extension cables so that I can mount the solar panel in a different location to see if that helps. But as is, the panel must be installed as shown in the packaging. (And to achieve the tilt angle, the light must also be installed facing a southern sky. The tilt only goes one direction, not a complete 180 degrees.I'm hoping that this is the problem and that I can be solved by moving the solar panel. If not, this item wont meet my needs. Thanks for reading and the opportunity to review this item. Don't take my word for it, read all the reviews here so that you can make an informed decision before buying. The assumption I made was that the panel would be enough to recharge the battery during a full day of sunlight.. even if missing a few hours of early morning sunlight.
