I like using these when I'm reading in distracting situations. Would probably be good for kids having to try to read in a noisy classroom. There are a bunch of colors so there are plenty to share. They are durable enough to not get damaged with use. They have a shiny side and a matte side. For smaller width books I would recommend cutting the book mark to better fit the page size. It makes it easier to use.

These work amazing for my daughter with dyslexia. It helps her focus on the main sentence she’s working on.

My son gets lost and confused when reading. So this bookmark guides his reading perfectly. I can hear the confidence and easy flow while using this. My daughter does not have trouble reading. However, she enjoys the guide as well. I would recommend this for everyone who has a little trouble while reading or not.

First of all, it's an OK product. We obtained this product because our home has two different neurodivergent adults, one with dyslexia and another with ADD.DYSLEXIAThis product specifically mentions dyslexia in its description. This and similar types of products continue to be used as both an intervention and treatment for dyslexics. However, the dyslexic in our household used the different colored versions of these overlays and noticed little to no difference in their reading. This shouldn't be unexpected given recent studies have shown tinted overlays are ineffective at improving children's fluency, rate, accuracy, or comprehension for reading. Another study has shown that colored overlays may have a negative impact on reading for adult dyslexics. Given the lack of improvement and a potential decline in reading performance, the dyslexic adult chose to no longer use this product as a reading aid.ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER (ADD)The adult with ADD likewise noticed no significant difference in reading or ability to concentrate. However, the overlays were effective as a simple visual aid when matching the color of a book's cover with an overlay; purple cover with purple bookmark, blue cover with blue bookmark, etc. It was also beneficial to use the clear strip of the overlay to stay focused while reading along in a group setting.OVERALLI cannot recommend this product as a reading aid for dyslexia or ADD, but they are fine as bookmarks. The plastic does make them fairly slippery so they have a tendency to fall out easily. I found this especially true when used in some of my larger, spiral bound books. I also found this product to have more bookmarks than I actually needed. This product is likely a much better option for a larger family, a school, library, or any organization with multiple members with books and could use bookmarks. On a positive note, the overlays are fairly thick and sturdy, so I'd expect them to last for quite some time. They've been durable over the past 2 months of use, and the colors are reasonably vibrant and quite attractive for what they are.
