I've had a Breville Smart Grinder Pro for over 10 years. The first one died one year after warranty, so I got another, and 7 years later I still have it. I disassembled and cleaned it, with compressed air, every 3-4 months. About 4 years ago, during one of these cleanings, I found that the felt washer had totally come apart, and I went looking for a replacement. Prices for one washer were around $20; I was shocked. I did find one in Australia for $7, but with shipping cost it still was over $20. I bit the bullet and got a new one. When it arrived I went to the local craft store, got a roll of crafting felt for around $6, and tried to DIY some washers using the new one as a template. My attempts failed; my DIY washers stopped the dust from getting where it shouldn't, but all my coffee came out as fine grind, and I could not adjust it coarser. So, I installed the new washer, and stashed the felt roll away with my other craft supplies. Last year, that now 3 years old new washer disintegrated, too. So, I searched again, and found that replacements still were around $20. I gave up, bought another brand grinder that doesn't use felt washers, and stuck the Breville in the attic.Then I stumbled on these, two washers for $12. I jumped on the deal.My Breville is now back in service, and I'm loving it, again. It's so much quieter, and with more accurate dosing, than the one I got to replace it. If my experience holds, a felt washer lasting about 3 years, I should be good to go for the next 6. Fingers crossed my Breville's motor holds up another 6 years, too.

Very good quality felt washer for Breville grinders. The felt is very firm and holds its shape and fits the grinder of my Breville Bistro Express perfectly. I appreciate that you get 2 replacement felts with this kit.
