This o2 sensor worked well for about a month before it slowly declined. AFR sometimes gets stuck in a lean condition and maxes out the AFR correction making my car run rich. Verified results of this condition using an AEM standalone gauge. It seems as if the o2 sensor is either faulty, not reading properly, or the heater element doesn't work properly. This condition may be attributed to running e85, but I would personally advise to just get the OEM replacement instead of this and save your engine.

Denso, Bosch, and Subaru sensors are all made by Denso. These are the only acceptable upstream o2 sensor that will work properly on a Subaru.I bought this brand because a friend said it worked ok on there car...Turns out they were an idiot and didn't notice there car ran badly. I had no check engine light, but when engine was in boost, the AFR was dangerously lean and conflicted with my known good L1 gauge.17:1 under boost!

I'm not going to say this is a faulty product, but the unit sent to me didn't function like it should. My AFR was all over the place and my wideband AFR guage I use for tuning was spot on, so I knew it was this sensor. I ended up just buying a new Denso OEM and not leaving it to chance again.Always have a way to read your AFR when replacing, especially with an aftermarket air/fuel o2 sensor on turbo'd Subaru's. Could save you an engine.
