After a couple days inflated with all weight off the tires, one of the tubes or stems (TBD) developed a massive air leak. These went on with relative ease, which was aided by the supplied pair of tire bead wrenches.Definitely an upgrade from what was on the bike before.Note: I partially inflated the tubes inside of the tires to help get them onto the rim, and then deflated a bit more to finish the job, but having at least some air in there helps keep the correct shape and position.

This is my alternate set of tires for my old giant Yukon that I bought a couple months ago. When I got it it had some very aggressive dirt tires with probably quarter inch or so knobby tread patterns. Those were great quality tires, but I'm just not on trails and in loose dirt enough for them to make sense, so I started looking for some others.I figured I would try this pattern which is kind of between gravel and grass from what I can tell. I've been really happy with them thus far, and they seem like good quality and come with everything you need to swap out your tires as long as they fit your rims. They're definitely lighter than my other ones and the tube seems to be pretty much the same quality as the more expensive brand that I had on before.

I am an occasional bicycle rider--I am not any type of professional or hardcore rider. I have an older Diamondback mountain bike that needed a new rear tire and tube so I ordered this set so that I will have a spare tire and tube in the future. Even though the tire was folded up, it unfolded and reshaped itself very nicely. I was able to mount it on my wheel and get it inflated in about ten minutes. Since I mostly ride on the roads, I did not need anything very heavy duty which is good because these tires and tubes are only medium-weight when it comes to thickness, durability, etc. If you ride offroad a lot or where there are potential puncture hazards, you might want to look elsewhere. In summary, for my needs, this product worked very well because it was easy to install and a pretty good value based on the fact that you get a complete set of tires and tubes for around fifty bucks.

The vendor/manufacturer makes a lot of promises for these tires...most that they really cannot live up to. However, for the price, they still represent a decent value. I plan to use them on a hard tail mountain bike that I use for casual rides or when my other bikes are down for maintenance (AKA, rarely). The tread pattern is conservative, at best. More specifically, I would not expect it to perform particularly well in anything other than ideal conditions. It is not particularly deep or aggressive, but should provide reasonably good rolling resistance. The Kevlar in the matrix should imply somewhat better puncture resistance, though it is not miracle fiber by any stretch of the imagination. (In fact, Kevlar armor is not able to stop a knife...) The best thing I can say about this product is that it represents a good value as long as you are willing to compromise some performance on the trail. I doubt they will be super in any category, but it's hard to beat the price for what you get. I'm used to spending significantly more for a single tire, so it's nice that less expensive options are available.

PROS: Very good kit including tools to get it done. Tread is aggressive enough to work well in wet/softer soil conditions with good open tread so it can clear the mud/dirt instead of clogging up and turning into grease balls. Has enough support in the center to ride reasonably quiet without excess vibration on concrete and hard pack trails.CONS: None.Summary: Combine this tire change kit with spoke and tread liners and you will have a combo that is very flat resistant and should last a many riding seasons.
