This trio of threadless titanium studs is lovely. The CZs are quite fiery and sparkly and the gold tone titanium is well polished and sparkly. They’re easier to use than internally threaded studs, with the same comfort of the labret post flat back. I’m happy with them.

I ordered the 16g, 6mm bar length in silver. I have not worn earrings in my helix or second piercing on my lobe in maybe 20 years, so I figured getting this on will be a challenge. The 6mm bar lenght was a bit difficult. The bar is thinner than a needle and very short (6mm), while the clasp or backing is 16g thick, but a good length. I was affraid to get the longer 8mm or 10mm bar since I don't know if that meant that the backing will be longer and it will stick out too much on the back of my ear. I ended up using a regular size earring to sort of reopen my piercings and once I got that one to go thru all the way, removed that one and then I put on this 6mm bar. The challenge was getting the 16g backing to go into my piercings, especially in the cartilage. After some wiggling I got them both in. They feel secured. Not pocking the back of my ear like regular earrings. I will have to see how they do while I lay/sleep on that side of my head. The stones are very sparkly and look very pretty in person. I was expecting them to look cheap and dull, but that's not the case. I'm pleased with the purchase.
