Who else remembers the good old days of shrinky dinks? I've been seeing these fun little crafts come back in style, so I wanted to jump back in to an old childhood favorite. I had basically no supplies to start with, and of course, the plastic film is one of the most important ingredients for this craft. I decided to give this YeahMiya brand a try because it seemed like a good value, listed at about ten dollars for 32 sheets. Honestly, these plastic sheets are just like the original brand name ones. They have the double-sided layout, where one side is shiny and one side is dull (you typically want to color on the dull side). The instructions that came with the product were pretty clear. The suggested temperature was just right to get the plastic to do its shrink magic. When my art shrunk, it laid down flat and didn't have any issues with curling. The finished product feels sturdy and thick, so I can't complain. Overall, this brand of shrink plastic is really good; it's a good value for the price, it's good quality, and it's easy to use.

These are so much fun to decorate and shrink. There are a lot of sheets included which can make a bunch of shrunken images. The instructions are easy to follow. The sheets have two different sides to it and the dull side is the one we colored. After coloring we cut out the images and put them in a toaster oven. They shrink pretty quickly and it's fun to watch. One thing I learned though is if making into a charm or keychain it's best to poke the hole before shrinking. I didn't do this for the first few designs.

I love the shrinky plastic crafts. I was born in the '60s and we used to love making these when I was a child. It was so much fun cutting them out and watching them shrink in the oven into little plastic pieces. This kit has everything you need for a fun afternoon of making crafty keychains, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Great quality. You get everything in the kit including pencils that work well on the plastic. They're easy to cut. You even get a hole punch and scissors. This is a perfect kit to give as a gift because it has everything to start crafting immediately. All you need is an oven. I used my toaster oven and it was perfect.
