This is the third set that I have. Perfect for the bars I work at for birthdays and other celebrations. They liven up the fun in real person but look even better in pictures and videos. The three light options (two for brightness, one for strobe) are the only options needed for their use (no need for a ton of options here.) Being metal, they’re very durable. The plastic part on a few have cracked but not fallen off or affected their functionality or look. Highly recommended light for your parties!

These heavy duty aluminum baton lights by JIEGXT are very well made as well as fun and practical. They are very bright and have adjustable intensities as well as a flashing mode. Though it's not something that I personally would do because I don't do concerts, these would be great fun at concert type events for those that do. On the low intensity, these would be great for the center of tables at weddings and other parties. They fit over champagne bottles, so each table can be outfitted with their own bottle of champagne and light for a cool memorable centerpiece. To me, one of the most practical uses for the baton light is to have for emergencies in your car's glove compartment. Flashing mode can direct traffic and warn drivers of a disabled car. Very inexpensive emergency preparation. The only thing that I would like to have different would be a USB type charging port instead of the power supply that they include. All in all, these are great to have and great to give as a gift. Used as props on New Years Eve. They looked great whether in the window for arriving guests, or on the fireplace mantle. They were easy to move, too.

I like how you can use these lights as lanterns and also control the brightness to some degree. When you first turn it it on, it's fully bright, then it goes to a dimmer light, then it goes to the strobe light. You toggle by turning it off and on. This can be a little annoying if you want to have a default that stays the default or you want to start with something basic like just the dim light and need to keep turning it off and on to get it to the right setting. I like the rocker switch though also, because it's really clear when you're switching it on or off, unlike a button which is more difficult to feel for if it's dark. If you're holding it in your hand, you essentially need to use both hands, because the switch is on the very top. The base is wide enough to stand upright making it great to use as a lantern.In my case, one of them had a thick scratch on the inside of the plastic covering the LEDs of one of the lights, but it was probably just damage to one of the lights. It still works as expected.I'm a little torn on the charging setup. Part of me likes having a separate charging DC port, plug and transformer for each light, because you can plug it straight in without having to have the right USB to wall adapter. Also each transformer each has a colored LED which is green when first plugged in and orange while charging, so it doesn't matter if the light happens to be positioned away from you, if you can just see the transformer itself. This is great when you can see the outlet, but may not be preferred if the outlets are behind other objects. The other part of me wishes it was a USB C charge port, which has become so common with other lights/batteries, such that you can share the same charging mechanism and not have to consume more outlets, especially when using something like a USB hub.Personally, I like the idea of using these as lights for emergencies where they can be positioned in strategic locations if the power goes out. My wife didn't seem to like the idea of using them for weddings.
