Not much to say - - You know what it is, and you get what you ordered! I've ordered different variations of these same boards before, so I already know the product is going to be decent. You can easily solder headers or wire to these boards. Very nice!

I bought the 6pc, 4pin, 1mm pitch set. It comes as a board of 6 you break apart that has everything welded minus the DIP connectors. The switch connector for the orange Polyimide ribbon cable fits snugly and gave no issue. I bought it because I didn't want to solder directly on any ribbon cables to reuse the IC for other projects.

I could not find an equivalent item for a 27 pin cable, but this 30 pin connector got the job done, and it locks tightly enough that the cable stays in place. Thank you!

With the advent of the Raspberry Pi 5 and the opportunities for HATs and other add-on boards to its PCIe port, I’ve been immersing in and enjoying this new ecosystem.But what about going a bit lower level than consumer-grade boards? What about making my own? Or at least interfacing some of my own creations?A device like this proves invaluable to the electronics explorer: with the proper circuitry to speak the necessary PCIe protocols, I can wire up to this, then run a data cable into my pi for testing.
