We use these candles for our Christmas celebration that we put candles on the middle of plates - these candles are perfect for that because they are flat on the bottom. They are perfect basic candles and it is always good to have some candles around the house for emergencies.

Excellent item to have handy if you lose electrical power. Flashlight batteries always seem to be dead. These candles do not seem to melt down as fast as the fancy candles most people have around the house for decorative purposes.
