The FixItRight 3/8 x 3-inch Hex Lag Screws are actually 10-mm, not 3/8. The head is marked A2-70 and has the manufacturers symbol. The material is 304 stainless steel. The metric screws have a larger head than the 3/8-inch US standard. For my application, I appreciate the larger head. These are screws, not bolts. By definition, screws are tightened by turning the screw. Bolts are tightened by turning the nut.Five stars because I like the screws, and I appreciate the larger head with a larger bearing surface.

These are definitely heavy duty lag bolts. Made of stainless steel, they are designed for outdoor construction use and should last for decades before you have to worry about corrosion. As advertised these are perfect for decks, playground equipment etc. They truly are monsters, I usually use 1/4" but nothing wrong with moving up to a heavier 3/8" lag bolt. These are well made with no visible furring or defects (seems picture) and I have plenty of projects where I will put them to use. I gave them FIVE STARS!
