I chose this affordable option of an ND filter to learn with. Because I am so inexperienced with them I can’t offer any technical evaluation. That said, I a delighted with the product, I’ve used it singly and stacked to great effect. From my perspective, this is a addition to my camera gear.

Fits my Sony a6400 lens just fine. Filters are impeccably clean unlike some mfgr's products that have dust on the glass! This is a 55mm ND64 so WHY is it in a 110mm box! Filter mfgr's need to get with the program, and stop shipping with the oversize boxes. Additionally, I purchased several variations. Of the two that came today, one was in a plain white 7Artisans box with various labels and the other was in the black 7Artisans box we see on the Amazon web page. The white paper box is such a tight fit that it is almost impossible to open without tearing it. Already ripped. Not really an issue, but, now my boxes don't match. Four stars for selling the filter and switching the box without telling us! Important thing is the quality of the filter is good. Others have done technical reviews, so I am going to assume these are technically good enough for my use...bought three more!UPDATE for 77mm ND8 filter: received "new' that was obviously opened as it had a fingerprint on the glass. I see why it was probably a return, there are two .5mm chips near the center...somebody sent it back and Amaz sent it out as new! How it would get those chips is a mystery. Since it has a fingerprint and dust on it, I doubt it came from the factory that way! Sending it back.UPDATE for 49mm ND64 filter: Very good clean as a whistle. I can tell this was never opened!Additionally, this review is for all the 7Artisan filters I purchased, since Amazon is not creating different review thread for each version.Mfgr, how about selling the filter in a box about the size of the filter like Gobe does. You and K&F seem to be stuck on shipping the filter in a 110x110x15mm useless presentation box. The filter case should be no more than 10% the size of the filter! Round or square is OK.
