New car sound system has a USB-C connection that can read FAT32 Thumb Drives. Handy that these have USB-A and USB-C connection, so no A to C adapter is needed. They seem to be of good quality and durable.

I got these to put a family video on and distribute. The video was 45 gig although it could be played in 40 minutes and the read speed worked fine, writing to these is painfully slow. Taking over 4 hours to write the file to each drive!, using a M2 Macbook Air. Also 9/10 worked.

I purchased a pack of 10 8GB drives. They die somewhere in their first week. Sometimes my computer finds them. Sometimes not. Some files will transfer onto these drives, some not. Each one ultimately 'dies' and just makes Windows Explorer crash. It is such a simple device and I ask so little of it. Yet, I cannot even accomplish these simple chores of downloading files to move them from one place to another. NOW, I find I cannot return them. What a terrible experience. I guess if someone gets 10 drives and texts all of them upon arrival they might find they have bought junk. If you use them as needed over the weeks and months, you only discovered what useless junk you have bought when their warranty has expired. Just plain old useless junk.

I came back and changed my review from 2 stars to 5.It appears that the drives I received from Amazon were used... or at the very least, returned from a previous purchaser. They came to me tossed in a bag which I thought was odd to begin with and then shoved into a box. It was the first time I had purchased these so I was unaware of how they would normally come. Most of them didnt work - it was beyond frustrating- hence my 2 star review!HOWEVER- the company reached out to me after my review perplexed... and and sent me a brand new box of drives- all neatly placed within hard plastic and in a proper box btw - and ALL of them thus far have worked perfectly! I have one left now. I plan to purchase more, shortly.Great customer service and great product.
