While this ladder stabilizer is sturdy, a design flaw forced me to return it. The two flat portions of the bracket that should contact the ladder rails ate 12 inches apart. My ladder (and any ladder I’ve ever used) is 16 inches wide. This meant that the stabilizer was very un-stable. (You had One Job!). There is no way to adjust this width on the bracket. Additionally, the U bolts were barely long enough. I should have known better than to buy something with no ratings.

Need to stick out farther. I have deep eves on my house. Seemed like a good product but just did not work for me.

Support does not workFlat mount part not wide enough abd brackets do nit fit rounded steps on ext ladders which is pretty standardNot safe
