Works as it should- far better range than the bad batch that were installed at the factory in 2019 models.

This is a must if you’re having range issues with your key fob.Install took around 20 minutes start to finish. The key fob range was around 20-30 feet before the install and afterwards it worked from 730 feet according to google earth measurements.

So after several year the range of the remote kept getting shorter and shorter.My tire sensors batteries finally got low had them replaced. And kept getting tpms no connection at random to certain wheels. Knowing the issue and using launch scanner I was able to verify it was the dumb module.This is on a 18 yukon took 20 Mins to swap. The module is on driveside rear glass you can see the connector. Don't try and pull off till you get the rest off parts off. Pull down the strip running along the top edge back headliner plastic1 clip only. Then remove acess cover on pillar post take out screw. Pop off rear cover right side where speaker is. Remove bolt from clothes hanger hook. Pull headliner around out of way of seat belt. There 1 bolt holding the module in. Now when you go to get connector off it may Unplug. Mine would not. It's like a 9v battery on the Glass i used needle nose to pull it off. My range is now an easy 200 feet with the fob. And no more irradic tire pressure sensor communication. FYI this little module talks to your key fob and tire pressure sensors. It does not need programming.It got to the point I'd have to right next to the door to unlock the truck.So if you hear reading this is the fix!!!!

My key fob range was only a couple of feet before In installed this replacement amplifier. Range is now at least 150’!Took about 20 minutes to install.

The originl distance you needed to be from the vehicle to use the keyless entry remote was about 30 feet. After replacing the original part with this one, the range is now at least 200 feet!It took about 20 minuts to replace it on a 2019 GMC Yukon XL.It is located above the passenger side rear window in the headliner. You need to remove the ceiling trim panel at the tailgate. Then remove top corner interior panel that holds the speaker (remove the small cover, and the 7mm bolt to do so). Then remove the coat hook that has an 8mm bolt holding it in. The headliner can then be dropped down enough to replace the part. You can order a trim removal tool kit to do this work, if needed.
