I have had this for about 2 weeks. I just bought the vehicle (2023 Ford Maverick) and realized immediately that plugging a wire into my phone every time I drove was going to be a huge pain in the butt. So...I bought this. Took all of a minute to pair with my phone (Samsung A13 5G), and it immediately connects every time I get in the car. All Android Auto functions work as they should with no discernible lag. I put a little square of Velcro on it and stuck it right under the dash by the USB port; I didn't want it dangling from the cord.*I think a lot of issues reported in the reviews are more car or phone issues than problems with the adapter. Some devices just don't play together well.*

We don't have wireless car play or andorid auto in our vehicle, and we don't like to plug the phone in all the time. I had done a ton of research on these devices, and often the same two problems came up on most devices: slow boot up time and they are glitchy. This device has none of these issues. We plug it in, and within 7-10 seconds the phone is connected (either Apple or Android) and we are good to fire up our maps for our trip. We only had it crash on us once, and that was several months ago. Since there we haven't had any issues; and we've left it in our car in -30 and it fired up right away. This device is a solid purchase and you won't be disappointed with it. It works with both Apple and Android devices, so you don't need two devices.

Does the job well, only annoyances are it can sometimes disconnect from the phone but only occasionally (who knows which side this is on), and it is not easy to switch between phones/turn off connection as it wants to automatically reconnect to the last phone it was connected to.Would buy again, 99% of the time it works perfectly.

I had looked at wireless CarPlay adapters many times and the reviews and the lag they talked about always scared me off. This one came on sale and I figured I’d give it a try. 2 weeks in and I couldn’t be happier with it. Connecting is fast and works 99% of the time without any intervention. As that’s about as successful as I was with wired CarPlay I’m going to chalk it up to CarPlay wonkiness vs anything with the adapter. There is a slight lag when skipping songs but it is very very minimal vs wired and google maps, Waze, etc all work great. I’m in a 2022 Ford Escape with an iPhone 16 pro.Highly recommend this adapter.

I bought another brand and after a few weeks of struggling every single day to get a connection, I returned it and got this one. Set up was so easy for both android and iPhone. It's tiny and hardly noticeable once plugged in. It connects flawlessly every single time. The first connection takes about 30 seconds or so. After that initial connection, it connects and works properly within seconds before I'm even fully backed out of my parking spot. Calls and texts are stable and sound great. Spotify works flawlessly and starts right up without prompting. Google maps works perfectly. I love being able to give voice commands to respond to a text, make a call, or ask for directions. I can even arm and disarm my home security through it! It responds so quickly and accurately. My 2022 Highlander only offers car play and android auto if the phone is plugged in, but this thing is a game changer and makes it all wireless. If you're looking for a dependable device to eliminate the need to plug in for Android auto or car play, don't hesitate on this purchase.
