Old Man L has decided to run his 25 year old car into the ground - at one time it was a nice luxury saloon car but it is clearly showing its age these days and the lack of Bluetooth is one of those chasms of missing functionality that anyone below 50 (probably) couldn't imaging a car being without.He has a stand alone sat nave unit and a mobile phone but if he doesn't mum L in the car to act as his personal assistant he is a bit restricted in using these. So, despite my serious misgivings about the hours of tech support I would be committing myself to, I decided to take the plunge and get him this so he could play his playlists in the car (as opposed to loading up his CD multichanger in the boot !) and, more importantly, talk hands free whilst on the move.I found it easy to set up and tune in to a free FM frequency on the car radio. Seems to have a good stable connection and reception through the Bluetooth. A lot of functionality and flashing lights which I will will no doubt continue to get questions about but actually worth it as I can at least hear what he is saying when he is in the car now.Reasonably priced to solve a specific issue so would recommend.

I am trying my best to find a hook up that will link my Ipod Classic to my new Truck. I used to have a radio transmitter years ago and it worked so I thought I would try this. Unfortunately I am still looking. The charger that goes into the cigarette lighter is just to charge your phone or hook up. Not sure why I thought it would work with my hook up for my IPOD. As for the product it works great with hooking up a bluetooth to a radio station. The lights can be adjusted so they will not be distracting and they are easy to use. Cord is sturdy and will last.

Works great got this for my mom who has an older vehicle unable to do hands free calling. The clip actually sticks to the vents. And it was easy to install and set up. I preset the radio frequency to hear it over the speakers for her. We tested it out sound quality is good. Sounds like your using speaker phone. Basically sounds like my cars hands free system. Seems to be built well enough to serve its purpose. She has only used it a few times, didn’t notice much static. Blue tooth was very easy to connect via IPhone. For the safety of your loved ones while driving price was worth it. I think this is great for older persons to use hands free if their vehicle isn’t equipped for it. Easy to control.
