If you have any type of decent protection case for your phone, ottorbox or otherwise, this will not fit your phone. You will have to remove the case everytime in order to take photos w the lens. Not very good when on the go. Also didn't come w any sort of carrying case. Pretty frustrated

It's the only 72mm threaded filter holder that I can find. Since I only have 82mm filters, I'd like a bigger filter holder to prevent vignette in the pictures, especially for wider angle shots.I really appreciate that this filter holder has rubber where the filter holder touches the back of the phone and where it touches the screen.

It’s a fun device that opens up photographic possibilities. If it’s attached, it can mess with touch screen operability though (about 30% of the time). I bet you can crack your screen if you’re too tight with it as well. It’s a little janky but I’m still happy to own it.

As far as the product goes it's pretty straight forward. Put a 72mm filter (which is not included) on, slip over your lens and SLIGHTLY tighten down. Also just a heads up, buy some adjustable rings and you can get different size filters on it. Just watch for the "barrel" effect. Now here's the information you should know:If your phone has a thick case such as Supcase or something simular, this will not work without forcing it. Don't do that as damage could occur. My suggestion to the manufacturers is to lengthen the distance from holder to screw down by 1/8 of an inch longer. That should make it able to get over thicker cases. So that's my thoughts and I hope it helps whomever reads this in your decision.

I've been using this on my Xperia 1 VI. It allows for full manual controls over video, which often require you to use an ND filter to get the correct exposure. This has been the easiest way for me to attach the ND filters that I already own to my phone. I've tested this out on several phones and so far, no issues! If you want to get the most cinematic looking video in all situations, an accessory like this makes it much easier to happen.
