HFT offers some nice tools where I don't need MKE's power. Especially for once-in-while power tools. I'm actually working away from my home for a while so now I can buy a couple cheap Bauer tools on sale and use my existing pile of M18 packs. Saves me a ton.

This is a handy battery adapter. I use milwaukee power tools and don't like having multiple types/brands of batteries and chargers. I also don't like the price of milwaukee when its a odd tool needed for a rare project. That's where this comes in handy. This gives me the option to run HF power tools with the milwaukee batteries that I already have. I don't think it's built tough enough for serious daily use, but it's good enough for my needs.

Once you get into one brand's battery ecosystem you are kind of locked in. When Milwaukee came out with a cordless grease gun using the M18 batteries I bought in. But their tools can be pricey. So being able to buy Harbor Freight's Bauer line tools for things I occasionally use but not have to separate brands of batteries is nice. Both my Milwaukee brand batteries work as well as the aftermarket ones I have.I'm not sure if the plastic will take a lot of heat so I don't think I would use it on a high amperage tool. However it did work just fine on the Bauer hot glue gun, buffer, and pole saw I own. Also I don't think the plastic is as durable as the plastic used by Milwaukee. A good drop could break it.But it does its job and as long as you respect it's limits it'll work fine.

I recently bought the Bauer 20V to Milwaukee M18 battery adapter, and it works well for my needs. This adapter is specifically designed for Bauer 20V system tools, allowing me to use Milwaukee M18 RED lithium-ion batteries for power. One important thing to note is that this adapter does not support charging Milwaukee batteries; it's meant only for powering tools, which is fine for my purposes. The construction seems durable, made from thick ABS plastic through injection molding. The compact design and sturdy contact pins give me confidence in its reliability, and the 14 AWG wiring adds to its longevity. The adapter is well-designed, featuring internal ribs for a secure fit and five screws for stability, which keeps everything in place during use. Finally, it uses a 2-pin connection to ensure compatibility, as it excludes the charging and detection pins that can vary by brand.Overall, this adapter is a practical solution for anyone looking to power Bauer tools with Milwaukee batteries giving you lots of cheaper tool options. It’s simple to install and functions as expected for tool performance.
