I hooked up an iPad pro 11" 2nd gen and a Chromebook with no issues. The cable is pretty rigid, I will have to make sure when it is in use that it is not putting sideways pressure on the USB C port. Since I have two 20" monitors with DVI cables attached in different locations this adapter makes it easier to hook things up to them. I did not feel like spending $25 or so to purchase two USB C to DVI cables for the two monitors. The female threaded Hex standoffs on the DVI adapter must be threaded wrong. When I screw the DVI cable onto the adapter it only threads on two turns then stops. The connection is not snug like when the DVI cable is connected to the back of the monitors. This will do till I upgrade to larger 27" monitors with HDMI ports and purchase a cable instead of an adapter.
