It's not bad if you want to use it to set up internet modems and what not. But surely not reliable for speed testing. I was getting 1550 down on wifi but using this unit I was only getting 400down that's a big difference that should be turned around. As hard wired should always be faster.

I bought this unit to use on my TV box the box works great but it is only 100M I wanted to increase that so I bought this adapter it is compatible with Android devices my normal download speed is 600MBS. It was just a matter of getting a USB 3 adapter to use with the USB C to plug it into my box I was only getting 50 to 50 M on the box after I installed it I was getting 300MBS which was a great improvement. Note the USB 3 to USB C is a video and data transfer adapter they can be found on here that is where I got mine, I have standard adapter but they are mainly for data transfer.
