As a self proclaimed wine expert (I sell wine for a living) I can say this thing definitely adds to the taste of wine out of a bottle! I would say using this device is the equivalent of decanting a wine for about an hour.What I found super interesting is using this on a cold bottle of Chardonnay - it REALLY releases the nuances of the wine even y though it's cold, which usually makes the perplex flavors of wine.Very impressed!

AdHoc 2-in-1 Aerator Pourer and Red Wine Decanter - Wine Aerator & Pourer SpoutI really like the simplicity of this aerator and the fact that I don't have to pour my wine into another container that I then need to also clean! You just pop this into the bottle after removing the cork and the wine pours through the aeration system straight into the glass. I will say, you can hear it churning through the holes and the wine even has some bubbles in it when it reaches the glass!It does come with a stand that I likely will have no use for as this item will be in the drawer with my cork screw.

Admittedly I don't know anything about wine. I'm definitely not the type to spend a lot of money on it, because it isn't something I'm passionate about. This aerator is wonderful for making a cheap bottle of red wine taste great! I couldn't be happier.

This aerator is great! Have owned ones in the past that were hard to clean, took up a lot of storage space, or didn’t seem to aerate very well. This is a game changer! It fits the bill in all the categories above. East to clean, store, and definitely provides solid aerating action. It looks cool as well!
