This is my first Aedes-Are kit. I'm currently building the taller of the two structures, and having a great time! I didn't know these kits existed. I've always wanted to build models of castles and old stone structures, and I'm happy that these kits are available.These kits are definitely not for inexperienced modelers, or someone who wants a quick build. As with other Amazon purchaser's of this product have said, the instructions leave much to be desired, but this often happens when a manufacturer attempts to write multi-language instructions; hence these kits are for experienced modelers.I've built wooden ship models in the past, and I would say that these kits are comparable in contents and scope. Most of the raw materials are included in the kit, but some other materials and odd bits supplied by the modelers will make the end result better. For those modelers looking scale perfection, the finished model is not a perfect to-scale replica of the real structure However, the finished result will be a unique and showpiece quality.I'm having a great time building the kit, and already have ordered two more. I would rate five stars if these kits had better instructions.

They love to build things but it has to be realistic. It would be way to hard for our 9 year old to do himself. My husband and son have designated times to work on this. They are really into it.I will update throughout the process.
