This is a very helpful little set of pen/pencil grips. I recently bought some new pens (box of 12) and while the quality and the ink are great, the barrels are very narrow and lacking a grip space and made for an awkward and uncomfortable grip. This helped solve that issue for me.

hi,These pen/pencil grips are fantastic.They grip really well and are very comfortable to use.They help with softening the grip needed to hold pen/pencil, so if you are someone who uses a lot ofpens/pencils give these a try you have 40 so these could last a lifetime also good if you have children to help the grip colouring pencils easier.High recommend.

Love the colors and various styles! They all grip the pencils well and don't slide off. All 3 styles turn thin hard pencils into comfortable tools in your fingers. I can now write and draw for hours. Best purchase ever!

These pencil grips do provide guidance and encouragement for proper finger placement when writing. They are also slim, more aligned simply to gripping the pencil itself, and not as cumbersome as some grips. The biggest problem is that the grip itself does not firmly clench the pencil, sliding up and down on its own, and easily slipping completely off the pencil. This is especially a problem for students who are, sometimes reluctantly, correcting a faulty grip.

EDIT- LOVE LOVE LOVE these are available in a large set for the artist in us all.Not sure why my last review was rejected my Amazon but it was 100% positive feedback.So to type it up again.You can’t go wrong with these, the 3 in 1 grip, cap & extender are great. They fit multiple sizes of pencils including standard graphite, prismacolor colored pencils for artists and polychromos.They also fit my triangle shape pencils!!!I highly recommended them to any artist or colorist that needs a soft style extender or cushioned grip.These are also great for standard sketch or handwriting pencils.THESE ARE A MUST HAVE!!!I promise.They not only have a beveled area for your fingers to rest but it teaches proper holding & the extender and cap options do actually help.I do wish there were little grippers lower inside the extender to hold even shorter pencils because we all know artist grade pencils are expensive and we tend to use them until we just can’t.These are not just going to aide you with your holding techniques but also help with hand and finger fatigue, for those who tend to be heavy handed.So with all that said these are not only affordable but they come in a hard case with assorted colors.Just get yourself some already :)
