I use only lead free solder and I need spools like this for my solder gun. This solder performs very well and flows great! The only thing for me is the thin diameter wire is more of a challenge to feed thru my solder gun; because if it's off center, even by a small amount it bunches up. I then have to remove it, straighten it and try again. However, I am getting better with practice and you just have to take your time and feed it slower than you would a thicker solder wire.All-in-all, great quality and value!

I bought this hearing that silver solder is harder to work with, and it is a little. But if you want lead free or stronger solder, this fits the bill. I wouldn't feel happy working with it, but it does work.
