It was very cute when we first turned it on, but shortly after the wings contacts to the body that houses the batteries would disconnect. The motor for the wings to flap still worked but we would have to constantly push in the wings in so the lights would turn back on. It was frustrating the entire night and we eventually gave up on the lights.

The wings are beautiful and I purchased this one for the remote control functionality. But one of the wings is loose in the base so it doesn’t light up and the other wing falls out of the base randomly. It seems that the box was previously opened. I am returning the item. Disappointed because my daughter loves them and fairy wings were on her Santa list. I may purchase again in case this was a one-off error but don’t want another disappointment.

My 9 year old got this for her fairy costume for Halloween ! She loved it , but the price is alittle steep. If it was about 20$ cheaper I’d give 5 stars. The material is very flimsy for 50+$ but it got the job done for one night of fun. and made her happy so it was worth the $$.

My daughter used these wings for Halloween- she put together a Rosy Maple Moth costume, but since we couldn't find wings that truly matched the moth, she decided to go this route.These wings got her compliments the entire evening! She had a blast with them, and they made her feel downright magical. They can play music (I think 3 songs if I have it right?), they can move, and the lights have different settings as well. The straps are easily adjustable, and once they're on they're pretty secure. I personally couldn't figure out the wrist band- I was just pressing the button on the main unit itself- but my daughter did. The wristband gives you a lot more function and customizability than the button you press on the unit that the wings are attached to does, so I highly recommend figuring that out. You'll need AA batteries for the main unit and AAA batteries for the wristband.These wings are a must-have for any child who loves to play pretend- they are absolutely magical, and so much fun! The music is a fun addition, but I think just the fact that these light up (and have multiple lighting settings!) and move/flap is such a big deal for any kid who is playing make-believe; whether these wings turn them into a fairy, butterfly, or in my daughter's case, a moth- they're going to have a blast. I highly recommend them!

My daughter loves these wings. They work perfectly and we love that she can control the wings by the heart shaped remote/bracelet.
