Esta es la mejor opción para que la señal de tu router lkegue a tu jardín o otro lugar lejano en tu casa

capta bastantes redes, más que la de 5dbi que trae por defecto mi dispositivo usb.

These are amazing. Especially when you need a good antenna for the 5GHz ranges. The gains stated are actually accurate, which is difficult to find when looking for antennae. I doubled the connection strength and quality using these on my computer. They are attached via a low loss wifi antenna extension cable so aiming them is a little finicky, but you only have to do that once. I had to use the cable because two of these won't fit into the antenna plugs that are super close to each other on my system. Also, my computer is on a three level metal stand and the router is directly below it, so I can't aim any directional antenna properly from there. None of these problems actually have anything to do with the antennae themselves, I mention them because even if you have these problems, yourself, these antennae can still be the best thing to do for your wifi. These work amazingly well on the 5GHz ranges, even though obstacles and walls. They also give great improvement in the 2.4GHz ranges, but they do yield a higher gain and improvement in the 5GHz ranges. When pointing them around for fun/out of curiosity, I can get good connections with wifi farther away than I thought would be possible for an antenna of this size. I really wish that my router was capable of using non built in antenna so I could switch all six to these. They do cost more than one would expect, but I have tried many different types and configurations of antennae and just using these yields the best results by far. The directionality also eliminates noise and signal from other sources from other directions, which is also super helpful. My only problem with these is that they don't turn all of the way around and they aren't double jointed so that they can be pointed straight up. As far as I can tell, they can't be pointed in the direction of the plug they are attached to, so they can only point away from the router/computer, making full, 360 degree coverage from a router in the center of a home difficult. This isn't a problem for most household layouts, but for a 2 story dwelling, it is a problem. A directional antenna has to be able to point in any direction

Does what it's supposed to. Works very well. Took the 2.4Ghz network signal from about -48 to -38. 5Ghz went from -65 to -55. Hard to give exact numbers as it changes throughout the day but the best I've seen is -36/-49 respectively which is a HUGE improvement. Took 5Ghz from mostly unusable 2 bars to a full reliable 4 bars which was the whole reason I got it.Antenna is very directional as it should be. Seems to catch reflections off the wall which might make you think it doesn't matter which way you point it, but it certainly does. Pointing it at the corner or straight up drops the signals to -75 or so. Also make sure you are careful of polarization. That is you should have it pointing the same way (vertical in my case) as the router antennas. Turning it 90 degrees lost 5 to 10 dbm.Your not going to want to stick this directly on a PCI card at the back of your PC. The way they articulate, you cannot make them face forward. Left/Right/Backwards/Up/Down are the only choices. It is somewhat big, but about the same size as a good quality omni-directional antenna. I am using it with Asus' included antenna mount which holds two antennas. The combination of these two directional antennas and placing them on top of the case where there is better line-of-sight makes a vast difference and made 5Ghz viable and reliable even through 2 walls at about 30ft.And to remove all doubt, the logo is the active side and should face your router. They aren't lying about 16 degrees vertical coverage either. Almost wish they made these things with a sight hole to aim them precisely. At $25 they can be hard to justify, especially getting two of them in my case. You get what you pay for though.

The interesting thing to note about wifi is that *each* 3 db is a doubling in signal strength. Therefore this will double or even treble your signal strength - which makes a world of difference to your browsing speeds. This is a dual band antenna, so will work with older 54 mbps and 150 mbps and the new 5 GHz networks. The new AC networks work at high speed over short distances (30-40 foot), so this antenna ensures that even if you're 2 rooms away, you get the maximum speed from your new routers. If you're over say 50 foot away, then you'll probably find the 2.4 ghz network will be your best option. The benefit of the older 2.4 Ghz networks, is that they travel much longer distances (so that you can sit in your back garden). You'll get 300 mbps easily from your garden with this antenna.Luckily this antenna offers both frequencies, so you're future proof. It also means if you go to Starbucks or your a hotel and they have an old wifi system, you can still connect. The maximum speed of a g network is only 54 mbps, but the N networks are either 150 or 300 mbps. The AC networks offer over 850 mbps. The point here, is that if the router is only transmitting at 54 mbps, then the antenna can only match that speed, it can't improve it if the router itself is on a zimmerframe. I know, life isn't fair!I have 100% link and 100% signal strength on my AC router... which I couldn't get before (as it's through 2 foot walls). It works great on long distance wifi - or in older houses. Plus it lets you work in your garden if you want to.It will bring an older laptop upto date with the latest and highest speeds.Because the antenna works with both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz networks, this means you're future proof for the new home routers and capable of working in your back garden and over long distances.
