If you're running a Starlink Mini from your vehicle or portable power setup, this 36V adapter is an awesome addition to your travel kit. I picked it up to avoid using my inverter just to power Starlink during road trips and boondocking stops, and it’s done exactly what I hoped. It plugs right into the 12V port in my truck and powers the dish without any hiccups.The big benefit here is the built-in voltage step-up to 36V. A lot of 12V direct cables can be unreliable, especially if there’s even a small voltage drop you’ll get resets or failed connections. This converter stabilizes power delivery and keeps the system running smoothly. I’ve had no issues since switching to this setup.Build quality seems solid. It’s compact and weather-resistant enough that I don’t worry about having it out in the elements. I haven’t tested it with a super long cable (yet), but it handled my standard-length cable without any signs of struggle. It does not come with a Starlink cable, so you’ll need to already have the correct one.If you’re looking to use your Starlink Mini in an RV, van, or off-grid setup and want a reliable power solution without messing with inverters, this is absolutely worth having. It just works and that’s exactly what I needed.

The one thing missing from the factory Starlink Mini kit is a 12/24v vehicle adapter and this solves that problem. It fits securely in any automobile power adapter and the OEM cable that comes with the Starlink Mini for the AC adapter fits in this adapter perfectly. This also works well with a battery bank that has a 12v adapter. The conversion from 12v DC to 36v DC is more efficient than using the OEM AC adapter and converting DC to AC to only conver it back to DC which makes this adapter much more efficient for mobile battery powered operation.The only negative point I will make is that the product listing pictures almost make it appear you are getting a long 200ft cable with this adapter (it actually says 60m/200ft range), but what that really means is you can use a 200ft long cable with this adapter. I don't think its intentionally trying to be misleading but I can see how someone not looking closely might be misled.Overall this adapter works great for my needs. I am very happy with it and is my go to power supply for mobile operation.

Works like a charm. It’s compact and uses the standard Starlink cable. Plugs into the 12 v receptacle on the outside of my trailer. Now I don’t need to run my inverter just for Starlink.

This DC step-up adapter feels surprisingly lightweight—whether that’s a good or bad thing remains to be seen. I ran it for about 90 minutes, and while it stayed cool the entire time, I wasn’t pushing massive data loads or continuous high-bit-rate streaming to truly stress test it.The weight difference compared to the wall adapter makes sense since this unit only converts DC to DC, whereas the wall plug has to invert AC to DC. That said, the lighter build still gives me some hesitation, though that might be unwarranted given the difference in function.Personal note: I would have preferred the cable to the 12V barrel to match Starlink's signature gray. This oversight in manufacturing is why it only received four stars.

I was going to purchase the $100 Starlink branded 12v power supply but skipped that and hopped on Amazon instead. This product has been powering our Starlink mini for a few days now and it's working perfectly. We can power it from the 12v socket on our Anker Solix C1000 and get better performance than we did using a lower voltage option. It's far more efficient to run DC to DC with the Anker than it was using the Starlink supplied AC adapter with the Anker. The C1000 wastes more watts just running the AC inverter than it does powering the starlink itself. We've almost doubled the amount of time we can run the Starlink Mini with the C1000 with the addition of this simple converter.
