My daughter recently turned 12, is 4'11" and about 75ish lbs. She plays a lot of fast pitch softball and often slides. After trying many pairs, these have been the best fit for her. They're not baggy or sloppy. Their a perfect mid-rise and the length goes past her knee about a third of the way down her calf. She tried a women's XS in the same brand but they were way too high rise so too tight in the waist and the rise was too long. She's a girls XL in these and I wish they carried XXL because the proportions are perfect.I've found that the Dick's sporting goods brands are too baggy and short. These are longer and fitted, but still stretchy and comfortable, and don't stretch out after a full day of playing. The sliding has caused some abrasions in the fabric, but they still look great and are used often. Belt slides in easily too. Definitely recommend!

These run small so once you realize that and order a side up the fit is perfect. My daughter loved them.

Good quality and lasted the whole season with little wear. These do fit low waisted on my daughter but she had no issues.

Like a lot of reviews say, these pants do run a little small. I have a 7 year old daughter who is 56 inches tall and 43 lbs, and we have the hardest time finding softball pants to fit her. She has several pair of these in a size small. They are still slightly big in the waste but they fit perfect with her belt. The length is perfect as well.

I ordered size medium for my 8 year old that is 52" tall and slim. I could barely get her feet through the opening at the bottom and she said return them. She had these brand of pants when she was 4 and I liked them then because she was slim and these fit well, but these look like they should still be for a 4 year old! The league she plays for has been using Champro pants lately and I hate those. The waist is tiny and the pant legs are huge and the length is funny, not pants, but not knicker either. I also ordered a pair of Badger pants in size medium on Amazon and it fit her great. The Badger ones looks very similar to the Alleson brand and has the inside draw string and the sizing is correct!
