I liked the idea of this product however it was very hard and the straps irritated me. To make this product better it should probably be made with some kind of memory foam to give it some give and provide a more comfortable fit, as well as softer straps around the edges

I purchased this pillow to help with sleep prior to my rotator cuff surgery, it was helpful then, but now that I am now 4 days post-op and have used the pillow instead of my immobilization sling, I wouldn't want to sleep with anything else, it is soooo much more comfortable. It places your arm in a similar position, but removes the strap around your neck, which is the worst part of the sling. I have had 2 amazing nights of sleep. I am still able to use the ice machine with the shoulder sleeper pillow in place.Con: Price - At $150, it's pretty much a luxury item for after surgery. I am glad that I had the money to spend, but wish it was available at a more reasonable price. However, the structure of the pillow and the way the straps keep your arm in at night, is likely why the price is higher than others. It feels well made, doesn't have a lot of sharp or irritating edges which makes it almost invisible feeling while sleeping.

This was a life saver! Sleeping in a sling surrounded by pillows was uncomfortable and claustrophobic. I tried a different pillow/support, but it was uncomfortable. The shoulder sleeper was comfortable and the curves cradle the arm and shoulder as well as curving around the waist. Because the contour goes around the elbow, you don’t need an extra pillow to stop your elbow from accidentally bumping into anything while resting or sleeping. This is NOT for walking around. It should only be used while seated or sleeping. I need to have rotator cuff surgery on my other arm and I fully intend to buy another shoulder sleeper!

This pillow is soft enough and comfy to help me keep my arm elevated. It is durable and made well. It is a good value for the size and price.
