this was a good filter pad, i was able to make 2 for my Sump's filter trays out of this pad, simply cut to fit with a razor knife or scissors. it WILL slowly reduce the phosphate levels as described. one pad section of about 8x10" reduced the phosphate levels from a bit over 2ppm to between 0.5-0.75ppm over about a weeks time- as that was my target range I pulled the pad then. It's not something I'll need to use all the time but I'll likely pick up another package to have on hand in case i need it.

Purchased these to donate to a workmate's wife that is a teacher. Anything I can do to help out a teacher... and tomorrow's leaders.

I purchased this item for a church sponsored supplies drive for our local schools. 2,000 sheets of paper is a perfect supply source for a teacher to help students keep up with required materials. Hopefully all of the material supplied goes to needy students, whatever that means in today's society.

I’m finding it more and more difficult these days to buy the in half by 11 college line paper that I grew up with. My sheets are more earth friendly with the 8 1/2 x 10 1/2? I don’t even know what the second dimension is on the newer paper. If you find Oxford on a good day, get a good deal on the purchase of this paper. Thick enough to feel good to write on, the lines do not bleed, and solid for any number of reasons for buying this paper.Rock on Oxford!

College ruled paper is what I ordered and what I got. It was a savings buying it in a pack.

Warning this will raise the PH in freshwater. So start out with a small piece to see how it effects your PH; even a little bit will raise it quite bit. My PH tends to sit low around 6.5. So I actually like this cause I can raise it to 7 and remove phosphates. If you are already sitting at a 7 ph I wouldn’t get this product. I would go for a liquid phosphate remove. And rinse well before using.
