The scale is nice in size and shape but other than the look the scale is useless. The markings of dimentions dont match with regular metric scale and so its not worth buying. Kindly dont buy it.

I am a semi retired professional engineer who designs a line of antennas I manufacture and sell myself. I usually do this with a CAD program, but I keep a minimal engineering kit with me at all times to be able to write/draw/calculate an idea no matter where I am. This little engineering scale is a vital part of that kit.The quality is superb, the scale markings are absolutely legible under low light conditions, and it is just the right size for a portable engineering operation. In addition, it is made in San Salvador. I detest buying things made in China. San Salvador has its own problems, mind you, but at least they do not have a nuclear arsenal aimed at our west coast cities.Overall, it is perfect,the price is right, and I highly recommend it.
