I don't use words like this often, but this thing is adorable, it's so tiny!I saw 6" length and figured it was just a half-sized version of a standard scale, but it's actually really tiny; it's 6" in length, but it's a thick as a pencil! Unexpected, but honestly works out better as I got this for a portable scale I can keep in my pocket and this is perfect for that!

This thing is rock solid and has essentially the same anodized aluminum finish as my macbook and my beloved Pentel PS513 pencils. I also have a Midori brass ruler, which is great, but it tends to tip over in my Saddleback briefcase's rather deep pen pocket. This alumicolor is a bit taller, and the round tube makes it unlikely to fall over.

Was looking for a small scale to keep in my bag all of the time. This works great, I do wish that it was a dedicated Engineers scale and not a mixed Architecture/Engineers scale.
