This is a high quality American Standard toilet seat. I bought it to make sure it matched my American Standard toilet which is in the linen shade. When the toilet closes it is completely quiet. Sturdy and releases easily for cleaning. Highly recommend despite the fact that the price is rather high.

Amazon was the only place I could find this type. Fit and functioned perfectly after adjusting mounts’ alignment

I looked in Lowe’s, Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Ace Hardware and online for this toilet seat. I called American Standard for help locating tge seat because the toilet that I have is solid on the sides and there is no way to install a bottom mount toilet seat. Per American Standard, Only Amazon and build.com had the toilet seat. It was easy to install and it closes slowly and quietly. I am very satisfied.

Nice toilet seat, but it is not true that it fits all toilets. I had to choose between positioning the seat-front so that it was longer than the bowl or shorter than the bowl. I chose to have a inch or so of porcelain jutting out in front of the seat. It works fine that way, is a very comfortable seat, and I really like that both seat and cover are whisper-close. I have purchased some toilet seats in the past that billed themselves as soft-close but it was only true of the cover, so there are occasional crashing sounds when the bathroom is used by persons such as my teenage son.
