Phister used to send these units for their now discontinued Kamato toilets as a warranty replacement when they ran out of original flush valve assemblies. This one is in fact superior - lasts longer without leaking, features a nice chunky engagement action.Fits on the Kamato almost perfectly, the only modifications needed is to adjust the plastic push rods on the lid buttons, add about an inch of extra length for them to reach the flush unit.

Mounting bolts/brackets are different than original Water Ridge toilet but it is very simple to make work. Works fine, too. Couldn’t find in any hardware store.

This particular valve was slightly different design than mine. It attached to the tank a little differently. It uses 3 brass latches rather than a single large plastic nut which makes it hard to seal with the original rubber/foam gasket. But by only grabbing a tiny bit of the tank, it allowed me to still use the gasket rather than doing research on a another style gasket that would work with that 3 fingered design clamping style. Not sure why there is a different style clamp because the plastic nut makes the seal easier to work with.
