In spite of the description, this is a light pan. The aluminum measures about 3 millimeters thick while my calphalon pans are nearly 5 millimeters thick. Nonetheless, it seems to be well made and it is priced considerably lower than a comparable calphalon pan. If you are OK with the weight of the pan, it's a good deal.

Used 2 times with plastic utensils --absolutely no metal or silverware touched the surface and have several scratches ALREADY. The Lid handle is metal and if cooking something with the lid on for a while., the handle gets really hot. While not the worst I have purchased, it is far from great. Will not purchase this brand again.

This saute' pan is very high quality compared to most saute' pans. It is heavy enough to hold in heat when cooking. Fit and finish are five star.... The usual Anolon high quality. We bought this one to replace our old one that is being retired after some 22-24 years!

I love this pan; it does in fact keep oil in the center like it boasts. It's also a great size for me, not too big and not small at all. The only minor negative I found is that the cover handle will get hot. I solved this by getting a 4" piece of braided water line tubing 3/8" ID (inside diameter), let it set in hot water for a minute, sliced it down the center, then slipped it over the pan cover handle and held it in place so it cooled down in its present shape. With that solved, this pan is still 5 stars to me. Some day I'll step up to Anolon X, but for now, this serves my purpose and is my go-to pan!

I saw this brand advertised on TV so I purchased one from Amazon. I couldn’t be any happier with this find. It sautés beautifully and the clean up is awesome. I will definitely buying another one very soon
