I bought this to see if the end product would have enough movement in it to allow for fitting of a metal part without snapping or shattering the print as would happen with regular resin. It worked. I was pleased with that part. But choose your use cases wisely. I printed something that needed straight edges and after curing the print was not straight. It was quite thin, but keep that in mind. Overall, very happy with the resin.

First off, there was a leak in the bottle when it arrived to me. Luckily, it was packaged in both a box and a plastic bag, so it kept the resin from leaking all over the place. Once that was all cleaned up, it struck me how much this resin smelled. Most resins I use have a very slight odor but this one was strong. However, when used as an additive to other resins to give them a bit of 'flex' and avoid breakage, it works GREAT. Fragile pieces that might have snapped before have enough flex to keep them attached.

This makes it an ideal choice for prints that require a higher level of resilience to handling or accidental impact.Despite the quality and performance of the Ultra Tough Resin, it’s important to consider its price. The cost may be something to think about, especially if the benefits of the toughness aren’t necessary for your prints. It’s a good product, but the value of the extra flexibility should be weighed against the added cost for your application.

Works as expected, printed with Chitubox default settings for grey resin on Phrozen 4k mighty. Used as an additive, and while it's tougher than most, it's not indestructible
