Specifically asked for model year and make, this item’s connectors do not work with OEM connectors from the vehicle, requiring hard wiring!

I bought this because I broke the original mirror at the joint where it pivots to fold the mirror in. The original part has a section finished in silver to match the vehicle. I’d seen several videos of people removing the finished section and installing it onto a replacement. However, you can’t do that with this part. You can remove the black section that comes with it but the clips on this part don’t match the clips on the OEM part. Since I’d already taken both apart and just removed the clips from the OEM finished section and glued it in place. I’m not confident it will hold forever but it will get the job don’t until I can buy a replacement from the manufacturer.I will say that if you are just installing it without the transfer of parts then it would probably be fine. Screws and screw holes line up and it works as expected otherwise.

It looks the part but you can tell it is a reproduction part, with way cheaper material and the plug is different than my vehicle has, so I have to modify it to even fit my vehicle that is said it would fit
