Worked perfectly!It was very hard to find the exact model needed, even with the original VW part number. I ended up with a VW mechanic to help me to find it. It took him a long time.It was very easy to install. It turned out that the fan motor was drawing out too much amperage, and that is what damaged my original resister. If you need to replace the resister, you probably should get a new fan motor as well. If you can, check the amperage of the motor. Mine was drawing almost 20 amps. It is too much.

since my blower motor was done and been looking for a affordable quality aftermarket and this catches my eyes and giving it a try, and it works perfectly on my 2016 VW GTI 6 speeds manual AC blower unit
