This jacket is perfect for a breezy day and light rain. It's very thin, so perfect for seasonal transitions! It's what we were looking for during trips to the park. I wouldn't wear it when rain is truly in the forecast, or if it's truly cold outside.

I picked up this windbreaker in XL for my almost 14 year old. The size is perfect for her (see pics), she's 103 lbs and 5'4" for reference. The arm and bottom lengths are just as they should be to protect her from the rain.My only gripe is that it's so thin. It's meant to be worn over something warmer, which is great here in Oregon since the weather changes so drastically throughout the day, but it really could be slightly thicker.She wore the jacket for the first time today in a downpour and stayed dry! Should be great for the Oregon coast as well, where it's almost always windy and often rainy, but not too cold.The blue two tone colors are so pretty - teenager approved - and it's the quality we've come to expect from Arctix.

The Arctix Girls Zephyr windbreaker is a wonderful lightweight jacket in a beautiful shades of teal and white. The material is polyester and is very soft. This is water repellant and wind proof. This jacket is very thin and would be great for warm summer weather when it is windy and rainy. This would not make you overly hot like a traditional rain jacket would do. This jacket is for my slender and tall 14 year old daughter. She is usually a women’s small as she doesn’t like things too tight fitting. I ordered an XL which corresponds to a size 18/20. I figured this would be a little large but when it arrived, it fits exactly correct. There is very little room to spare in the arms or trunk of her body. So, I would definitely say order one size up when you order this. This jacket is packable into its own pocket which would make it great for travel or hiking. My only complaints are this is longer than expected on her body. She is tall, so purportionally it works for her, but if you are short, this may be too long for you. This jacket currently is approximately 28” long. Secondly, because the material is very thin, it is slightly see through. Still a very pretty jacket!

great color -- the color is the same as shown on the picture. ordered a size 10 for our daughter and it fits her well. i would say it is true to size.it is a windbreaker - i foresee her wearing a long sleeve or sweatshirt under this jacket. This is great for layer. i will have to test it out in on a windy day.my favorite part of the jacket is that you can fold the jacket all the way into a small packable item. there's a zipper for it so that you can stuff it all in and throw it in a purse, backpack, duffle bag!

I am reviewing the "Arctix Girls Zephyr Windbreaker Jacket"I ordered this in the Island Azure color, which is a light blue/teal-ish! It looks just like the picture on the ADS! I love the colors!This is VERY thin! It is super thin and neat-o because you can fold it up into almost nothing and stash it seriously anywhere! It folds into a tiny little square... or rolls into a roll! Basically, you can make it tiny and stash it in your bag, purse, car, backpack... anywhere you might be caught in some rain/wind and it'll always be there! Nice to have something like this!It is water resistant, cute, had pockets, a full zip, and a hood! So you're not losing any of the benefits of a jacket with this! It has advanced technology, UPF 50 fabric for maximum protection against the sun, and advanced water and stain repellency to keep you cool and dry.The price point seems to be pretty fair and I would recommend it!
