I got these for my kids for a ski trip. The gloves kept their fingers warm but if they played in the snow or spent much time in the snow from crashing, the inside of the gloves got wet. At the end of the first ski day, we needed to make sure to dry them out for the next day.I'd say the gloves are good for keeping hands warm but not for snow play.

For this season of skiing, got some new ski mittens for the kids. The crackled black marble was my third grader's choice. It's soft, comfy,. and kept her hands quite warm and well insulated for a morning of skiing. Once she did some snow play and tubing, these did get wet at the fingertips and sides. Gripped palm area stayed dry.I always make sure the kids mittens and gloves are Thinsulate branded. The ribbed cuff fit comfortably. The velcro is adjustable and helps secure for play. The clip helps keep the pair together. Machine washable, but I am certain it lost some water resistance. Sizing chart was true for my Tall almost 9 year old, got Kids Large.Retail $28 and Priced $23 at time of order and review. These gloves are of decent quality. They turned out to be too big for my five-year-old, but they fit my 30-year-old hands perfectly fine. I am a petite person, which could be the reason it. However, I find them warm and cozy, and I appreciate that they come with Velcro so that I can adjust and tighten them as per my need. The bright pink color is a plus as it is perfect for my toddler's snow bibs.

First of all, I absolutely love the color, it brightens up the long Minnesota winter! The inside is nice and soft and the 3M insulate works really well, keeping my hands warm and dry on a park outing. There are adjustable velcro straps around the wrist that pull nice and tight, stopping any cold or snow from getting inside. The mittens are well made, easy to clean and look good. I would definitely recommend.
